Viking Energy
The “VIKING ENERGY”, built in 2019, is a DP-I shallow draft multipurpose workboat of 26,48 by 11,00 meters.
The twin Caterpillar engines delivering 1.940 kW which results in approx. 35,0 tons bollard pull. In combination with the DP-I Dynamic Positioning system, minimal draft, the 250 kW bow thruster and twin fixed propellers in nozzles, gives the vessel maximum maneuverability.
The strong HEILA marine forward deck crane with a maximum lift capacity of 9,8 tons(m) at 16,5 meters, the HEILA marine aft. deck crane with a maximum lift capacity of 10,0 tons(m) at 12,3 meters, the two towing/anchor handling winches of 50 and 100 tons (pull), a 15 tons tugger winch, and a maximum clear deck area, makes the vessel more than multifunctional and definitely one of a kind. All deck equipment is running on biodegradable lubricant oil.
