Protunus

The “PROTUNUS”, built in 2026, is a shallow draft multipurpose workboat of 27,27 by 11,50 meters. 

The vessel offers 32 tonnes of bollard pull, a spacious wheelhouse and comfortable accommodation. It features a 150 m² deck area and deck store, two heavy-duty deck cranes and an anchor handling winch. A bow thruster provides increased manoeuvrability.

The twin Caterpillar engines delivering 1.940 kW which results in approx. 35,0 tons bollard pull. In combination with the minimal draft, the 184 kW bow thruster and twin fixed propellers in nozzles, gives the vessel maximum maneuverability. The vessel has been tailored to specific needs, including a NOx reduction system cutting emissions by 80%. This includes enlarged accommodation facilities, a changing room, additional towing pins and a winch installation on the crane.

The two strong HS Marine deck cranes with a maximum lift capacity of 11,3 tons(m) at 16,5 meters, the two towing/anchor handling winches of 50 and 100 tons (pull), a 12 tons tugger winch, and a maximum clear deck area, makes the vessel more than multifunctional and definitely one of a kind. All deck equipment is running on biodegradable lubricant oil.

Options are 4-Point mooring system with 4 hydraulic winches and anchors, a Mass flow system for subsea cable burial or ROV upon request.
