The “DUKE OF NORMANDY”, built in 2005, is a shallow draft anchor handling tug of 26,21 by 9,10 meters.

The twin Caterpillar engines delivering 2.200 BHP which results in 28,3 tons bollard pull. In combination with minimal draft, the 120 BHP bow thruster and twin fixed propellers in nozzles, gives the vessel maximum maneuverability.

The strong HEILA marine deck crane with a maximum lift capacity of 5,3 tons(m) at 18,0 meters, the towing winch of 15/30 tons (pull/holding), 45 tons towing hook, a 13 tons tugger winch and a clear deck area, makes the vessel more than multifunctional. 

She is well equipped to deal with various operations: Firefighting, salvage, ploughing, survey pole,  4 point mooring system, deck containers for survey equipment & dive support, specialist seabed equipment deployment/recovery and full workshop capabilities.

Further more she can be equipped with various survey equipment, which can be rented separately.
