The “NEPTUNE MARINER”, built in 2007, is a large anchor handling tug supply vessel of 42,00 by 11,00 meters.
The twin Caterpillar engines delivering 3.043 BHP which results in 45,0* tons bollard pull. In combination with the extreme large bunker capacity of 390.000 liters, very economic engines, seaworthiness hull, and the twin fixed propellers in nozzles, gives the vessel maximum reach while towing and an excellent seakeeping behavior.
The strong HEILA marine deck crane with a maximum lift capacity of 3,5 tons(m) at 21,2 meters, the smaller auxiliary crane of 2,2 tons(m) at 9,2 meters, the double drum waterfall winch of 65 tons (pull), a 5 tons tugger winch, the 140 kW bow thruster and a maximum clear deck area of 200 square meters, makes the vessel more than multifunctional.
* Vessel has been equipped recently with two brand new Van Voorden special kort nozzle propellers, which will increase the bollard pull to ± 50 metric tons.
