Established in 1995, our company is specialised in various solutions for transporting voluminous and heavy cargo all over the world. Such shipment-solutions are effected either on board of "heavy lift" cargo-vessels or on pontoons/barges, whereas we also arrange worldwide "wet tows" with our own and with other seagoing tugboats.
Since the past decade one of the major - and still expanding - activities of our company is full operational, technical and crew-management of a fleet of new seagoing anchorhandling tugs, many of which are also in partial ownership of Landfall Transport & Towage bv.

Throughout the years we have shipped and towed many barges, pontoons, dredgers, ship's hulls, tugs, pilot vessels, hopper barges, as well as cranes, ship's sections and other floating and/or non-floating structures.
Our services are not limited to a "simple charter" of a cargo-ship or tugboat, but include the full co-ordination, including paperwork, stowage plans, agency-appointments, application of special permits, customs-clearance, insurance, survey, etc., all in full coherence with the clients' special requirements.

Since her early start "Landfall" Transport & Towage b.v. has been participating as 50% owner in the seagoing tugboats "Thomas de Gauwdief" and "Soliman Reys", which have meanwhile been sold to India and Nigeria, where these well-maintained vessels are still fully operational.

Some five years ago "Landfall" has entered into a 50% joint-venture with Neptune Marine Service bv of Hardinxveld for the exploitation of a fleet of four new seagoing tugs, named "Neptune Mariner", "Neptun 9", "Neptun 10" and - since some weeks - also "Neptun 11". Full details of these twin-screw anchorhandling tugs - varying between 42 and 53 tons bollard pull - can be found elsewhere on our website.

All four tugs have been built in the Far East, in accordance with west-European standards and "Landfall" is performing the full operational and commercial management of these four tugs. Apart from that we are regularly chartering tugs from collegue-owners (either as time-charterers or as brokers) to perform our contractual obligations.

Allthough many times involved in large-distance ocean-towage, these "state of the art" anchorhandling/utility tugs are very frequently operating on specific windfarm-construction and other contractor's projects offshore. All crew on board of these very well maintained vessels has gathered an extensive and professional experience in anchorhandling, barge-positioning, et cetera.

Another specialised service of our company is transport of ships on own keel by own power, for which we are able to quote you attractive "all-in" lumpsum prices, including gasoil, food, travelling cost, seacharts, port-charges and of course all cost for experienced "ship-delivery" crews.

Furthermore, based on our own turnover of ship's spares and equipment, we are able to offer you a full "door-to-door" service for the sale and delivery of spare parts and marine equipment, including full customs-documentation and airfreight or seafreight arrangements to any worldwide destination.

Summarizing , "Landfall" Transport & Towage b.v. is a flexible company for solid solutions and - being flexible - you can also choose for us as a solid company for flexible solutions.
