Established in 1995, “Landfall” is specialized in coastal-, offshore- and deepsea-towage, as well as transport solutions for floating- and/or non-floating voluminous and heavy cargo all over the world. Such worldwide transport-solutions are effected either as “wet tows” by our own and by other seagoing tugboats, whereas we also arrange worldwide shipments on board of “heavy lift” cargo-vessels or on pontoons/barges.

Since the past decade, one of the major – and still expanding – activities of our company is the “all-in” commercial-, operational-, technical- and crew-management of a fleet of new seagoing anchor handling tugs, many of which are in partial ownership of “Landfall”.

In 2009, “Landfall” has entered into a 50% joint-venture with Neptune Marine Service bv for the exploitation of a fleet of four new seagoing tugs, named “Neptune Mariner“, “Neptun 9”, “Neptun 10” and “Neptun 11“. A few years later, the coastal shallow-draft anchorhandling tug “Joli L“, built by Neptune Shipyards, joined the fleet.

“Landfall” is performing the full technical, operational and commercial management of those tugs. Since 2013 several shallow draft anchor handling tugs joined, which led to a fruitful expansion of the Landfall fleet. Apart from that we are regularly chartering tugs from colleague-owners (either as time-charterers or as brokers) to perform our contractual obligations.


In addition to the above mentioned AHT’s and in cooperation with Neptune Marine Service, we also offer for charter or sale flattop barges in various dimensions up to 110×30 meters, crawler cranes, winches, anchors and other related maritime equipment.

Dependent on clients’ requirements, we are able to mobilize barges for any required maritime purpose. So, if you need a crane barge with all related equipment, we are able to put it together and in addition can supply the anchor handling tug needed to tow and work with the barge.

Throughout the past years we have shipped and towed many barges, pontoons, dredgers, ship’s hulls, tugs, pilot vessels, hopper barges, as well as cranes, ship’s sections and other floating and/or non-floating structures.

Our services are not limited to a “simple charter” of a cargo-ship or tugboat, but include the full coordination, including paperwork, stowage plans, agency-appointments, application of special permits, customs-clearance, insurance, survey, etc., all in full coherence with the clients’ special requirements.

Another specialized service of our company is transport of ships on own keel by own power, for which we are able to quote you attractive “all-in” lumpsum prices, including gasoil, food, travelling cost, sea charts, port-charges and of course all cost for experienced “ship-delivery” crews.

Furthermore, based on our own turnover of ship’s spares and equipment, we are able to offer you a full “door-to-door” service for the sale and delivery of spare parts and marine equipment, including full customs-documentation and airfreight or sea freight arrangements to any worldwide destination.


All these activities are centrally controlled “24 hours per day and 7 days per week” from our Ridderkerk office (approx. 5 kilometres from the city of Rotterdam, Holland), by an enthousiast, flexible and versatile office staff with in total more than 60 years of maritime experience.
